Windows System Restore
If your machine encounters a problem or an irremovable virus hits your machine that your antivirus software can’t eliminate, you can use this option to use the machine’s state and content of a selected restore point. Here are the instructions you can follow:
If your machine encounters a problem or an irremovable virus hits your machine that your antivirus software can’t eliminate, you can use this option to use the machine’s state and content of a selected restore point. Here are the instructions you can follow:
- If you are using Safe Mode, you can choose NO to this option or otherwise skip this part.
- To access System Restore using Normal Mode, Click Start from your Desktop.
- Choose Programs.
- Choose Accessories.
- Choose System Tools.
- And Click System Restore. System Restore window will appear in your desktop.
- If you want to restore your computer to an earlier time, just click Next button.
- The next window is the Select a Restore Point. There was a bolded numbers on the calendar from the left, and they are the restore point you can select. The other numbers are disabled.
- When you pick a number from the calendar, you can select the restore point on the right side.
- Once you click the Next button, windows will now restore your machine.
- And this window will appear when your machine reboots after the restoration.
